"Ripa's Restaurant was a great place to have our wedding reception! The food was great and everything looked beautiful! They set up all of our stuff for the reception just the way I wanted them to be set up and everything looked beautiful. The only problem we came accross was that there wasn't a lot of wait staff and the service of dinner seemed to take a long time. They really needed more staff for the size of our wedding. They also needed at least one or two more bar tenders. There was always a line waiting for drinks for the bar, some times a line almost 30 people deep!! They really needed a lot more staff then what they had working, but of the staff that was working they were polite and very helpful. Ripa's was a great location to have our reception, and other than being a little under staffed, I would hold any other venue that may come up at Ripa's."

"Tony, Thank you so much for catering the business lunch at the Lancaster Opera house for Premier Consulting Associates today. The guests were very impressed and pleased that we chose a local restaurant and of coarse raved how delicious everything was. There was plenty left over also! I would lkie to personally thank you for delivering the food yourself, as it was your peak time of the day and you were short staffed. Thank you again for everything."

"I have been here several times and have always been happy with my meal. I think it is the best Italian food in the area. Their chicken melts in your mouth, love it! They make the best sauce and homemade pasta! My daughter says the meatball is the best! We will have many more meals here!"

"Ripa's Restaurant is in Lancaster, NY. They can accommodate 300 people for a wedding. I had 202 and we were quite comfortable. They only have one wedding per date so I didn't run into any other bride on my big day. The food is outstanding. If you want your guests to actually enjoy their meal, this is the place to go. Unpretentious Italian food. We had it served family style and everyone enjoyed it. I spoke to one contact person so we were always on the same page. At the last minute I wanted to add a cordial service after dessert. No problem. We also added wine carafts at the tables at the last minute. No problem. The wait staff was helpful. The bar staff was helpful. There were no disastrous bridezilla moments. Everything went smoothly and I got SO many compliments that our wedding was MOST enjoyable. I would recommend anyone who is having a huge family wedding to come here. They are welcoming and accommodating. You can't beat the value. I paid less than $30 per plate including taxes and gratuity and open bar for a meal I would pay money for if I were on a romantic date for two. I had 30 kids at the reception and they made allowances in my price so as to not pay for the bar for them. CJ sound is already wired into their sound system. SO easy to get my DJ without a ton of setup time. But you could use any DJ or band you want. Ripa's set up the room just like I wanted it. I needed to get behind our wedding cake because we did cake pulls with our wedding party. No problem. they also set up my gift table and seating card tables with my decorations exactly how I wanted them. I would come here for any event in the future where I needed to accommodate a group of people for any reason."

"This was a great evening. Dinner theatre of Finnegans Farewll hosted at Ripa's Restaurant. Probably about 100 people. Everything was fantastic!!! All the family style dinner plates came out quick and the food was hot. They did an amazing job from salad to desert. The play was audience interactive and was a blast!!! Highly recommend!!"

"We took our family out for dinner to Ripas last weekend and had an awesome meal. I ordered a single pork chop, which was absolutely the largest chop (both in size and thickness) I have ever seen!! The flavor was superb. My wife had the grilled fish and said it was delicious. Of course being an Italian restaurant, my son reported that the spaghetti parm was outstanding as well. But to top it all off, the service was some of the best we ever had. Our server's name (Stephanie) attended to every detail and couldn't have been nicer. Would we go back...in a heartbeat!"

"Ripa's isn't trendy, it's not on Elmwood or Hertel and they have plastic flowers on the tables, but it is a great place to go for excellent service, food and drink. There are two large dining rooms in the front and a banquet hall in the rear. The dining rooms have square and larger round tables, nicely spread out for comfort and conversation adorned with a linen tablecloth and cloth napkins. My guest and I went here for restaurant week and for $20.15 we were going on full before the entree came. Jamie, our server who was amazing, started us out with two very finely made cocktails, then came the mini loaf of freshly baked crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside loaf of bread with freshly poured dipping oil and/or butter. For an app, we were EACH treated to a nice sized crab cake AND two stuffed mushrooms, followed by a house salad or choice of three soups. The entrees were full portions for restaurant week, no scrimping here and I opted for the horseradish crusted salmon with a side of spaghetti while my guest had the French onion chicken. Wait, there's more... for dessert they served a fresh slab of brownie, topped with ice cream, a dab of whipped cream drizzled with caramel syrup, simple but delicious. Getting back to the entree's, the salmon was perfectly cook, flaky yet firm with just the right amount of horseradish to let the salmon flavor come through but not tasting fishy. The French onion chicken was a chicken breast on top of angel hair pasta doused with French onion soup topped with cheese and baked. It came out resembling a giant bowl of French onion soup with a chicken breast inside, missing the liquid from of the soup. Kind of hard to describe but a masterpiece none the less. Ripa's has been around for 60 years and is really known for the banquet hall but take a ride out to Lancaster for a great relaxing meal you won't soon forget."

"This was our first time eating here and the food was amazing. I had the Adriatic salad and the homemade gnocchi with marinara sauce and it was the best ever! Truly good comfort food. Doug had the ravioli. The service was amazing too. Thank you for making us feel so special. We will be back!"

"My wife an I have been going to Ripa's since we moved to Lancaster in 1982. It's our favorite restaurant of the kind of place you go to every few weeks. It's just a nice overall dining experience. The tablecloths are always a nice touch. From the very start with great service and outstanding bread with delicious dipping oil. Then a high quality salad and a skillfully prepared meal. You can't beat the Broiled Pork Chops. Even the affordable single chop is enough for a meal, and quite often leftovers. The homemade pasta dishes are wonderful. Be sure to try the Linguini with Clams."

"My wife and I had our wedding reception at Ripa's the hospitality was second to none and the food was exquisite. It has been 10 years since our wedding and our friends and family still talk about what a great time they had and my wife and I return every year to enjoy the food and reminisce. I want to thank Ripa's for making our special night a great memory for all and helping to make memories for years to come."

"I travel all over the country for business and Ripa's has made it into my little gold book for dinning in Buffalo. You have to try the Italian Ruben Sandwich, it is truly magical. I have tried to make this at home but cannot capture the magic from Ripa's."

"I have a top ten list for foods prepared for me at area restaurants and this place has two menu items in my top ten plus an appetizer. The Char-Broiled Haddock Italian Fish is 2nd to None when it coms to fish in Western New York. The way they marinate it and bake it it unmatched. They also have a porch chop dinner that sizzles when it comes out of the kitchen and as Mr. Food would say "Oh it's sooooo Good!"
